Error message - Can't access database

Several years ago I designed a database using Access from MS Office XP
Professional 2002. I've used this database routinely, until just recently I
get a message that Access can't open it because it's not on a trusted server
or is outside my secure network. I have 2 computers at home on a WiFi
network. I store the database on a shared drive on the desktop, and have
always used it over the network from my laptop, but it just suddenly stopped
working. In the same shared directory I have Excel files and Word documents,
and both those programs continue to use files from there. Any help would be
greatly appreciated! Thanks,

Did you perhaps email this database back and forth? If so, right-click on
the file in the Windows Explorer and choose Properties, then choose the
Unblock button.

I haven't emailed or moved the database. Never-the-less, I tried the
suggestion but it didn't work. Other ideas??

I developed my Access 2007 database on a computer, copied the database to other computers without thinking about security. The computer I developed the database on has a virus and is inoperable. On the other computers, I cannot make design changes to the database. I get a message that I don't have permissions to make changes. I don't understand, I've been moving my access xp databases around and never had this. Please Please help if you can point me to what to read.
