Error Message / Can start computer

I put the original RAM back into the computer and still
the computer errors with \windows\system32\config

It goes onto say it that file is either missing or
corrupt. Please hit 'r' to continue to fix.

I have tried to get into safe mode with and with out
CMD. I hit F8 and it gets me no where. I went into the
BIOS to see if I could change my settings on what boots
first and that doesn't help either.

Any answers out there. Seems like a lot of people are now
suddenly getting these erros. Does Microsoft have an
easy solution to fix this?
