HI,

this is not the first time.i have got this error code. i have got it a couple of times before.
but it started recently- say 2months back.

After the comp restarts itself it gives the dialouge-

System has recoverd from a serious error.....
........ So this time i clicked where it said -to know about the report-and the error given was:
BCCode : 1000008e BCP1:C0000005 BCP2:8051F452 BCP3:F924A798
BCP4:00000000 OSVeR:5_1_2600 SP:2_0 Product:256_1

and when i clicked for the technical information it said:
C:\DOCUME~1\Dhar\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER7e86.dir00\Mini050608-01.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\Dhar\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER7e86.dir00\sysdata.xml

I did try the solution given to another member with a similar kind of Error code-
but in my case none of the drivers are older than 2001 or 5.1.2006 later.

So please advise what should i do? i wish to solve the problem on my own with ur help
rather than calling a technician.

Please reply soon.

Fully patched all the latest updates from microsoft updates and download and intsall SP3 thats just gone out through windows update, if that does not work then I would reconmmend doing a repair install of XP if you have a XP CD and not a recovery CD.

What are you doing when the computer restarts?

Hope this helps, if not then let me know.
