Error Code 4

I'm trying to install XP onto a new computer. The CD
spins up and starts to load, but when it starts to load
the kernel debugger DLL, it stops and gives the
message: "Unable to load setupdd.sys. Setup cannot
continue. Error Code 4. Press any key to exit." The
funny thing is that don't get the same error code
everytime. I have gotten an error code 4, 7 and 14. I
tried the solution the support center gives for error code
7, but it didn't work.
