Hello, I can't log into Windows XP Pro. When I try. I receive the following message:
Windows Product Activiation:
A problem is preventing Windows from accurately checking the license for
this computer. Error code 0X800700C1
I CAN'T boot into "safe mode" either (all of the solutions to this problem I have found online assume I can boot in safe mode). When I try, the "safe mode" window appears. However, inside of it a window that says "USERINIT.EXE" is open and rapidly scrolling as if it where in an infinite loop.
Is there some way I can use the "Recovery Console" to delete a file and perhaps force a "Repair Install"? Would a "Repair Install" possibly fix this? I'm really in a bad situation here. Can anyone help me?
Sincerest of thanks, -Rob
