Error c0000135 on windows xp....

my friend was trying to either install or run spybot search and destroy on
her computer, (she can't remember which she was doing because she's not too
computer literate) but she said during the scan or installation, the computer
froze, so she turned it off and now she is getting a c000135 blue screen
error during the start up (it says something about not being able to find
winsrv). i tried running it in safe mode and i went into the windows xp
repair command prompt, but i'm not too sure what exactly it is that i'm
trying to do. if anyone has any suggestions or has fixed this problem
before, please drop it here. the articles i found on the error are about
getting this error during the installation of sp2 for xp, but that's not why
we have the error now. thanks in advance
