error c0000005

I recieve an error message when I try to open Internet
explorer 6 in Windows XP " an unexpected exception
c0000005 (Exception_Access_Violation) has occurred.
Information has been written to dragon.log". I did have
Dragon's Point and Speak on my computer but have
uninstalled it. I have installed service packs to try to
solve the problem to no avail. I could use some guidance
to solve this. Thanks in advance.
