Error at shut down

I'm running Windows XP professional edition on a Pentium
4 machine. WHen i shut down my computer it brings up a
blue error screen. The error code is:

0x0000000A (0x00000304, 0x00000002, 0x00000001,
0x806BD896).

If anyone could tell me what this error is, and how to
fix it, I would greatly appreciate it.

Try and reload windows xp sp1 and see if that will help you out. You may
want to see what is loading up on startup and disable some of the programs
and see if that helps you on shutdown. Start / Run / MSCONFIG go to the
startup TAB.

Something you are running is apparently crashing at shutdown. Try
shutting all programs down before shutting down the computer.

If that fixes the problem, you can then try a series of
shutdowns, first shuttin down different programs each time, to
see which one is causing the problem.
