error 70

N

NetTransplant

I have a client with a small home network. Two XP Pro workstations were on
the network and both were working perfectly with a simple shared folder
set-up on each and accessible by each.

One workstation was replaced and a new wireless laptop added. Laptop to
remaining workstation can map perfectly.

Mapping from workstation to wireless gets destination not found which is no
bit deal as a starting point.

Next step was ping from workstation to laptop, works after adjusting
firewall on laptop.

Net view from Workstation gets:

The remote server has been paused or is in the process of being started.
(error 70)

I can find no paused server, all looks perfect.

The owner of this workstation likes to play with registry cleaners and other
paranoid applications to hide stuff from his wife.

Anyone with this error message before (same error on W2k according to
Microsoft)?
