I bet it was actually "C:\$WIN_NT$.~LS". And "I386", not "1386".

C:WIN_NT$\1386\AMAS INVALID

Similarly. To have the best chance of getting help with your problem,
you must provide the COMPLETE and EXACT text of the error screen.

Sorry, but I do not know. I can tell you that Win32 error 183 is
"ERROR_ALREADY_EXISTS", which happens when a program tries to create a
file that already exists. Maybe try deleting all the C:\$WIN_NT$ type
directories and run the install again?
