Great. This works fine on my computer running winXP Home. Ideleted the accout
afterwards. Still working fine. Thanks!

Mr. Sanderson, a very well known person amongst this Beta-site. Thanks very
much for your info concerning DEFENDER ! I've also contacted several of my
friends who also want to install DEFENDER on Dutch XP PC's. Keep up the good

Thanks--glad to do it! I have heard that some users of XP Home may have
some trouble with the method shown in the KB article--I'd be interested to
hear about this.

Hi Bill

Trouble ;) it´s impossible to perform step 2 with Home Edition.
Home Edition doesn´t have "Local Users and Groups". beacuse
Groups is predefined as Administrator or a limited group.

But Step 1 solves the problem and a Home user can install.

As I can see Step 2 is not needed for both XP Pro and Home Edition.

I can also see reason to "delete" this net user after install

Thanks - that's clearer. I'd agree with deleting the user after the install
too, I think.
