Error 1608 install driver problem

Hi, I encountered this problem in my computer where there is an error code
1608 ("Install driver encountered problem"). It said " unable to create
install driver instance return code -2147221021 ". It also said that it has
something to do with Idriver.exe and kernel32.dll

Does anyone know what this means and how to fix it?

As a result of this problem my installation wizard is not working, and I
can't install any program in my computer.

Have you tried System Restore?

But I've installed Office 2007 before, so the CleanUp Utility won't work for
this Office edition, right?

Is there any other way?
