I'm trying to install a Epson Stylus C62 on my Compaq
Presario 5000 series with Windows XP Home Edition,
version 2002. I can't install at all, error message
says "operation could not be completed". I followed the
directions from here and deleted other printer drivers
that were installed on this machine. Now I get the
following messages: "Could not start the print spooler
on local computer" and "Error 1075: The dependency
service does not exist or has been marked for deletion".
Tried command prompt, same Error 1075 message.
Can anyone help? I've called everybody I could think of.
We installed this printer on another computer to test it
and it works just fine.
