Error 1068

Help Please!
I have a client that has an e-Machine that will not let me start the print
spooler it gives me the following message.

Error 1068: the dependency service or group failed to start.

what do you reccomend?

Is this a Lexmark printer? If not, did the machine ever have a Lexmark
installed on it?

hey guys,
it was an HP printer that I was trying to install, but she did have a
lexmark. after running a command this command in, it would let me install
the printer thanks guys for all you help.
CMD /K SC CONFIG SPOOLER DEPEND= RPCSS

Thanks for the follow up. Lexmark printers highjack the spooler service
and place a lexmard dependency on it. They also leave a lot of crap
behind when you uninstall them!
