Error 1068 the dependency service or group failed to start

Hi

I'm getting the error 1068 the dependency service or group failed to start, when installing an HP 1020 printer, i tried starting up the print spooler in services but it says it cannot start because there was an error with rpc, which i cannot start as well because of: "the dependency service or group failed to start"

please assist
