Epson Stylus C82 Printer ... NO COLOR

G

Guest

I just installed three new color cartridges in my printer. Followed all directions and primed cartridges according to instructions. I have done this several times in the past and have had no difficulties getting the colors to print. I can only get the Black and White portions to print. Checked everything I could think of and even cleaned the circuit panels on the back of the cartridges in case I had mistakenly touched them..

ANYBODY KNOW HOW TO GET COLOR BACK INTO MY PRINTER'S LIFE??

THANKS!!!!

Assuming that you are using windows XP, are you using the
correct drivers?

I had the same problem with my C82. After many calls to
Epson support, it was the nozzles that were plugged. No
amount of cleaning will fix it. According to Epson, it's a
common problem, especially if the printer is left on all
the time. Only solution is to replace all the print
nozzles. If the printer is still under warranty, Epson will
replace it for free. If not, a new printer is cheaper than
sending the C82 out for repair.
