enlarge Junk E-mail folder in Outlook 2003

Somehow my junk e-mail folder size has been set to zero. Result is that spam
filter with "high" setting automatically deletes the occasional important
message. How do I reset the size of the folder?

Based on the description, I would say select Tools > Options > Preferences
tab > Junk Email and then under that first tab, make sure the checkbox at
the bottom isn't ticked about deleting items.

thanks, but that's not the problem. Only other clue is that in the personal
files list, there's a red circle with a slash attached to the Junk E-mail
file.

Nope thats not it because that is just the graphic Microsoft selected to
label the folder with. As you can see, all special folders (contacts,
tasks, calendar) have a special graphic for its folder.

Did you check your Rules Wizard to see if there is anything there that might
cause an occasional delete?

Also, do you have any 3rd party security stuff installed? (e.g.
antivirus/antispam)

Focusing on file size may have been a red herring. The real question is that
despite settings, Junk Mail won't go to the Junk E-Mail folder ever.
Occasionally on download an item will appear in InBox for a second or two,
then disappears.

I had created only one rule, and have now deleted it to see if it makes a
difference.

I have Norton 2006 AntiVirus and AntiSpam. I also had them before the Junk
E-mail stopped working.

Thanks for helping.
