Generally, either you are found for or against, depending on whether it is a
civil or criminal proceeding.
With Microsoft Antispyware, the product simply stops working, and you need
to either uninstall it or download a new version which extends the trial
period. I would expect there to be an expiration date for all versions of
the beta, including beta2, which we have not yet seen.
