I've just downloaded and installed the latest (IP5_0Eng.exe) Intellemouse
Optical driver and software. It did this so that I could select the option
to "enable program-specific button settings". Unfortunatly, that option
does not appear. What software do I need to enable this feature.

I'm running XP Home, SP1

Thank you,
John

version 4 has that feature; I'd be suprised if they took it out, look
deeper! try the buttons tab, settings button.

That option has been removed in version 5 of the Intellipoint software

What a shame that version 5 is not as good as version 4.12. Seems like
Microsoft went backwards on this one.

Version 5 is defiantly broken. Apps that I could scroll
in with ver 4.1 won't with 5.0. ex: WallWatcher. I went back to 4.1
All better now!

I just bought a new MS laser mouse 6000, and to my surprise, that feature has returned. v5.4.x. I'm posting because, in 2003, I wanted to know where that feature went.
