Empty Temporary Internet Files?

I have, under Internet Options, the line for Empty Temporary Internet
Files folder when closing browser checked. Yet, after closing IE and
going to My computer/C Drive/Disk Cleanup, the Temporary Internet files
still show up with a non-zero entry. Do I need to do something else
besides checking the entry in Internet Options?

Thank you.

You tried clearing them manually?

Control Panel|INTERNET OPTIONS --- Delete Files (including offline content)

Sure. I've done it that way for ages but was just getting tired of
doing it and tried to see if I could make it happen automatically. The
entry in Internet options seemed a likely way to go about it.
