how do I delete those emails I don't want to open. I now
have Mcafee Virus software installed so I shouldn't get
too many more unwanted email.

HUH?! An AVP scans mail for viruses, it doesn't block spam. I don't know of
any AVP that includes a spam blocker. If you wish to block spam you'll need
to install a 3rd-party applet or use rules.

Anti-virus software has nothing to do with getting spam?
