emails to folders

I have numerous folders within my in box, When I have read an email is there
any way to get it to automatically go to it's folder? ie folder in inbox
name A, email is received from name A, read it transfer to folder.

Better way, use a rule to move the email to the designated folder first,
then use the Unread Mail search folder to see your unread emails rather than
the Inbox..(depending on your version of Outlook of course.....)
