Can someone please tell me why I cannot open aol
forwarded attachments on outlook express. Thanks.
 
Try this:
1. In Outlook Express, click Tools, click Options
2. On the Security tab, click to clear the "Do not allow attachments to be
saved or opened that could potentially be a virus" checkbox
3. Click OK
 
Try this in OE6:
Tools menu > Options > Security tab
Uncheck "Do not allow attachments...."
(Assuming you really want to disable this security feature)

Are they .EML attachments?

Shift+Right-click on such an attachment>Open with>choose Outlook Express
(msimn.exe) and check the "Always open with..." box.

Alternately, Shift+F3.
