I am using Outlook for my email & I am having trouble with my Junk mail. When
I open any junk mail, it opens as 'plain text'. I have tried to find a way to
configute it to open as HTML by default with no luck. My inbox mail opens as
HTML by default. I have tried tools-options- mail format-internet format to
set to HTML, still with no luck. Could you please inform me of the correct
procedure to use to rectify this problem.

Items in the Junk E-mail folder will ALWAYS display as plain text. You
can't change that, and why would you want to. Spammers can tell they've
reached a valid address by encoding URL references. If you display the
message as HTML you could trigger a web reference and alert the spammer that
they have a live one. If you want to see the message in HTML format, drag
it to another folder.
