email won't download

My email won't download. Using Outlook 97. Mailwasher
will bring it up. Can go on netmail and deal with it
OK. Computer connects but can't download. When closing
after having Outlook open a file "ThorConnWndClass" has
to shut down seperately in a blue box. Any help is
appreciated. Have Symantec anti-virus installed.
