email sits in outbox outlook 2002

Hi there I am having some troubles in my Outlook 2002/XP. The email
sits in outbox and will not send unless I s/r again. I have tried all
the fixes on the newsgroups but no luck. Help please :)

Oh ya I am working online.

Have you checked under Tools > Options > Send tab and made sure that a
checkmark is in the box beside Send Messages Immediately? Just a thought.
 
Excellent idea, I haven't checked that yet. I will when I get to work today.
