An MS Word document is created

clicks on FILE

clicks on SEND TO

clicks on Mail Recipient (as attachment)

an email message open up. The information bar states "this email message has
not been sent".

It contains the MS Word document that was just created.

Enter email address in the "TO" Field.

click on send.

Everything seems ok up to this point.

The email message is sent to its intended recipient.

It is also sent to the creators inbox. When this email is opened, it has the
appearance of an unsent message.

click on the "SEND" button on this email message and it moves from the
"INBOX". The intended recipient now has two

copies of the same email.

Is this a "feature" of MS Outlook? or is it an unintended function?

Is there a way to change this feature?

This doesn't happen to me. In my case, I get a copy in Outbox that lingers
until it is sent. I get no copy in Inbox. However, I have disabled the
option of saving sent items. Do you have this option set? What version of
Outlook are you using? What type of account?
