Update Query sent by Email in Outlook2010

I have a query sent by Outlook that when received in Outlook and sent back
is able to update an Access database. This works fine except when the
email recipient happens to use gmail when the formatting of the form gets
screwed up. Has anyone nay experience of this? I could sent a picture of
how it looks in gmail.
 
Is the message HTML or plain text?

Because of differences in how gmail handles HTML formatting, you are
unlikely to be able to fix it. Can you use a web form the gmail user can
fill out instead?
