Email(s) missing from sent items folder.

I have a user here who sent an email at 15:22 yesterday. SMTP logs show it
sent fine, was received by the recipients email server, etc. but the email
is NOT in her sent items folder. We have called the recipient to verify they
received the email, which they have.

I have searched her entire mailbox for the message and it isn't there. She
says this isn't the first time it has happened.

Besides the obvious "she deleted it, then deleted it from deleted items"
idea, is there anything else that could cause items to not show up anywhere?

It could be that her Sent Items folder is too full. There is a limit to how
many items a folder can hold.
