email recipients

Hi

I am trying to understand why I am now unable to delete an
email recipient from a drop down list that appears when
you are typing the first couple of letters of a name in
the TO box e.g. duplicate first names

David Hill
David Judd
I have in the past deleted by right clicking on the name
and delete. Outlook 2002 office XP SP2, windows 2000 pro
sp3.

Second to this I have another user that is unable to
receive the auto list even with it enabled.

Any help appreciated.

Do you arrow down to the name and press delete? If you are and it does not
work, then it sounds like your nk2 file is corrupt. Remove it and rebuild
it is the easiest way to do this.

Also, what do you mean by the second part of your question? The nk2 file
must be built by the user, it is not a sharable file.

The down arrow worked, just when you think the mouse can
do everthing! As for the second issue

The user has two three users with the name David but only
the one in the global address is found with no drop down
list to select form the only way to select the other
David's is to manually click TO and select from the
contacts. Other email addresses are selectable from the
contacts as normal by typing the name e.g Wendy - tab and
presto there is the address from the contacts but multiple
ones in the contacts are not working.
