I have just connected a router from my work computer to this computer, to
share the broadband facility. Now I find I cannot send emails on this set
unless I revert to dial-up , though it will send them without problem.
I have had a teccie guy try to help over the phone but has not succeeded.
Any suggestions??

The router needs to be correctly set up to connect to "your" intenet
connection. You must configure it with the Internet settings that your ISP
has provided with your high speed boardband service. This is never "plug &
play"!
