Tell us who your internet provider is and we may be able to find
their instructions for using their email servers, from which you
only need the part for the outgoing email server.

Interesting error message! At first glance the error message is quite
misleading, but if you place the emphasis on one word:
"No such user HERE"
it starts to make a little bit of sense. Of course there is no
@hotmail.com
recipient with a mailbox at Velocecoffee.com. Which begs the question,
why is the Velocecoffee.com server not passing the message forward
to the Hotmail server? It is because the Velocecoffee.com server is
not
authorized to act as a relay for non-local traffic. You are not
connecting
from the Velocecoffee.com IP range, you are probably connecting from
your own ISP since Velocecoffee.com is not an ISP. Attempting to use
an SMTP server other than the one belonging to your ISP is a non-no in
today's anti-spamming environment.

The solution is for you to substitute the SMTP server belonging to
your
ISP. Your recipients will not notice the difference.

Here's another one:

I have 2 computers, one has Outook (xp) and one has Windows
mail (vista)
both set up for the same email address. When I receive an
email on Windows
and open it, it doesn't appear on the Outlook computer.
Anything received on
Outlook always comes through on Windows.

How can I get my email to always appear on both computers?

Also, the Windows Vista computer will only receive email, I
get
an error
message when I try to send:

I believe Comcast does not allow off-network use of their SMTP server
even on port 587.

Since you already have a Gmail account, we are already halfway
to a solution. Gmail can be configured to work with both POP and
webmail. Do so here:
http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=13273

Then, on your laptop, in Windows Mail go to Tools, Accounts, select
the velocecoffee.com account, Properties, Servers.
In the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) field, replace smtp.velocecoffee.com
with smtp.gmail.com. If not already checked, check the box for
"My server requires authentication." Then click on the Settings button
next to it. Click the radio button "Log on using", then below that,
enter your Gmail email address and its associated password.
Check he box for "Remember password." Click OK.
Click the Advanced tab. Under Outgoing Mail (SMTP), enable the
SSL option, then change the port number to 465. DO NOT make
any changes to the Incoming Mail (POP3) settings. Click OK.
Try sending.

Since the Internet connection for your laptop will change

1. Use webmail to send: http://www.comcast.net/webmail
2. Get a free Gmail account, then use the Gmail SMTP server.

Success!!!

Thank you both so much!

I would like to show my appreciation to by sending you some of my my coffee.
If you email me with the type of roasts you like (light-dark), along with an
address to where you'd like the coffee to be shipped, I'll send some out to
you both.

Thanks again!
