email problem

Hi

I have this problem just after start up, when you loggin on your user
account (I'm the administrator). Underneath my user account icon there's this
blue text saying i have 56 unread e-mails. But that's not so. It was, though.
I had just started using my outlook express and I imported my entire mailbox,
erasing my mails instead of copying them, and they all showed up in outlook
as "unread". So i "read" them all and erased them, and i don't have anymore
unread emails. Still i can't get rid of this stupid message. What should I do?

Thank you ever so much. I got the message away. But in the article I couldn't
find a description of my problem: How come the notification never changed its
message. No matter the amount of unread messages it just froze in announcing
"56 unread messages"?

In the Repair option is an option to Repair Unread Message Count,

Sorry, can't use the powerToys program. It says it only works with
U.S.English regional settings, and my puter is configured in Swedish
settings.

Thanks anyway
