Email password being asked over and over

D

Daniel LL.

Working fine for few months, the donwloading of message from my different
email account was fine.
Since today, apparently without any reason, the password for downloading
email from server is asked over and over by Outlook 2007.
Any trick to repair that problem?
Cheers,
Daniel

Have you verified with the owner of the server that there are no issues on
their end?

Use the webmail interface to log into your account. This will verify
that you are using the correct login credentials (username and
password). Then make sure you are using those same login credentials in
the e-mail account you defined in Outlook.

Otherwise, the problem may be corrupted login credentials stored in the
registry. From searching on "Outlook 2007 remember password" at
Microsoft's huge support knowledgebase at http://support.microsoft.com
(which you could do, too), I found:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290684

Of course, knowing WHICH version of Windows you are using would help,
too, but that information was missing from your post.
