Email Notification on XP Prof Welcome Screen

The number of emails shown in the Welcome Screen for my
account is not correct. This is because a friend used my
account to check his Hotmail account. Now his account is
included in the email accounts associated to my XP user
account. How can I delete the link to this account?

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersio n\
UnreadMail\[Your E-Mail Address].

In the right pane modify: Message Count, Change it to 0.
