Email is attachment, attachment chgd to .dat

One of our users sends email's out and the recipient
receives the email itself as an attachment. Also, any
attachments she sends (.doc, .pdf, .xls) are converted
to .dat files for some reason.

We're on Windows 2000, Office 2000 SP3. Does anyone know
what could be causing these problems? We have deleted her
Outlook profile and recreated it. Thanks, Katherine

Yes, this is a common occurence when the mail is sent in Rich Text format.
Use Plain Text or HTML and test.
