Email inbox size limits for synchronizing.

Will email stop synchronizing when your mail box reaches a certain amount? My
laptop still says it is synchronizing, gives dates and amount when checking
inbox properties but updated synchronized mail is not there offline. I
deleted the .ost file and let Microsoft recreate it and mail is there. After
that time it will not show updated synchronized email. Mail box size is
almost 2 gigs.

Old format OSTs/PSTs are limited to 2GB. What version of Outlook are you
using since OL2003 now supports a format that allows for larger local data
stores.
