email in outlook 2002

currently i use an email address thru my cable provider.
how do i get my own email address which is portable in
case i change internet providers? how do i get it to use
outlook?
 
Do you want a hotmail or yahoo or other free account or do you want to get
your own domain name?

Once you have the address, you need to change it in the account properties
in outlook or create a new account.
