Email from windows mail

I am using windows vista and receive emails thru windows mail at work and at
home, this morning I checked my business email from home and I saw several
messages with today's date, when I got to work and wanted to return the
emails I could not find them.
If I check the mail from home do I lose them on my othe machine?

If both computers are using the same e-mail address, on both machines:

Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced - Check: Leave a copy of
messages on the server.

On one machine only, check to Delete messages after X days to satisfy your
allotted space you get from your server.
