Email error

When I open Outlook, I get my first email, then I get an error message as the next (of 35 emails trys to be downloaded. Th error messge is almost immediate indicating that POP3 has timed out. If I close down Outlook and reopen it the same thing happens. Is there a way that I can delete the incoming problem email
The email address used here below is not the problem one.....thanks Bonni
