It's a bit late. All the e-mail address harvesting bots and other
newsgroup servers have passed it around the world.

Is their not a way of stopping these bots from retrieving
these addresses?

No. A "bot" is a program that looks for e-mail addresses that have been
posted in areas that are accessable to the public. If you or I can read
it so can a "bot". Once it is posted to one newsgroup server it is
available to be replicated to other servers that provide the newsgroup
to their subscribers.
