Email address bounces back-error message

I have an unusual problem with my email address. When asked for my email
address on web based forms, I get an error message after typing in my email
address: They vary from "email address not entered" to "email address is
incorrectly formatted". I have installed a new keyboard, disabled my
firewall, but the only thing that works is when I use a differant isp.
Comcast is my present isp, and all my computers on comcast have the same
problem. Is it Comcast, if so, can I fix it with Comcast or do I need to go
to another isp?

Rich,

Number one: Enable your firewall again, if you havent already!!!

Have you got a little more info on the email id you are using, not the
actual id just a format like (e-mail address removed) or whatever yours looks
like.

I had a similiar problem with a (e-mail address removed) id, the reason being
that dots in the address portion are a fairly recent thing for free email
address issuers ( for example yahoo only recently allowed them) and lots of
people that decided to verify the address on there web pages forgot to allow
for this format.

If this is your problem contact the site you were trying to register with
and tell them to update there validation code.

Hope this helped
Chris
