As long as the sentence is just text, and not an image, it is just a matter of
making your changes to that particular slide then saving the presentation.

How can I edit only one sentence on one slide of a presentation ? Do I have
to re-record the entire slide?
I'm assuming you mean that you want to change one sentence in the recorded
narration attached to a slide.
If you choice the Link option when recording, the sounds will be in external
WAV files that you can edit with a sound editing program. Audacity is free and
quite capable.
On the other hand, a sentence edited into the middle of a different sound file
is liable to be quite obvious unless the recording settings are absolutely
identical in both cases.
It might be far simpler just to re-record the narration for the slide.
