=================================
Depending on the format of the image...you
should have some options for adding info
if you right click the image and from the menu...
choose....
Properties / Summary tab / Advanced button.

Except the options do not include the date field. Most
of the files are uncompressed tif.

Date created is the date the file was created on your computer. This is
different than "Date Picture Taken".
If you want to see Date Picture Taken, place your mouse pointer over the
photo. A textbox will open giving you this info. Or right click on the
picture, Properties and Picture or Summary, Advanced. You can also view the
Date Picture Taken by setting your View to Details. Right click on the Name
column header. A list will open, click on More and then check the item Date
picture taken. This will add this column in the Details view.
If you can't see this info in any of the three above ways, do the following:
Click on Start, click on Run and type the following in the textbox:
REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL
and press the Enter key.
Note that there is a space between ....32 and SHI....

If you want to edit "Date Picture Taken", you need to read the Exif file
attached to your tif file and then edit it.
You need software to do this, one example is here but you can probably find
others via search on yahoo or google.
