How copy IPTC date/time to EXIF date/time?

Microsoft Photo Info destroyed my dates when I attempted to "edit as a
collection" and add 7 hours to my file creation dates. All the dates were
set to an identical date/time stamp. Sigh . . . no, I don't have a backup.

It appears that the IPTC date is still intact which I can only see in Photo
Info (Origin tab). I'm hoping the IPTC time is also. How can I get that
data into the EXIF fields which is what appears in Windows Explorer? I've
seen some scripts posted online, but they are beyond my technical skills.

Apologies if this is a newbie question - I'm new to the photo meta-data area.

Thanks for any help you can provide!
