Copying Photos to CD

On Holiday, I took about 100 shots which on return I loaded into the computer
under a folder simply labelled Holiday Shots. In this folder I could arrange
the photos under the view button using 'arrange pictures by date taken on'.
They were then sequential. Next I went through and named or titled each
individual photo in the folder. So far so good. However the next step was to
use the copy to Cd function. When I used that, I noticed that under the copy
to Cd file, the photos were now out of order and the arrange by date taken
had been changed to "modified". I can only arrange them by location, name and
so on with the result that the shots are listed alphabetically and copy as
such. So, when I hit copy to CD, how can I get the 100 or so shots back into
the order of date taken on as they are in the My Photos folder so that when
viewing on Cd they are in sequential order?
 
I believe I have found the cause of the problem and for information it was
this:

When using the photos within the folder, as mentioned, the ability was there
to select "arrange by date taken" which was the desired effect. However on
selecting "copy to CD" somehow that ability was lost. What needs to done is
copy to CD, then click View, then details which will give a list of
arrangements you can use. In my case, the arrange by date is listed under
this button but was not checked. So, in summary, you need to ensure what you
want is checked in two places..once for the folder and again also once you
have selected copy to CD.
