Easy Message

I cant get Easy Message to work with ICQ although It's fine with MSN. I
sign-in to ICQ but my contacts are not there so I enter them. Then it shows
my contacts offline even when ICQ showed them online (and that includes
myself as a contact). Also, it does not keep my contacts after I signoff.

better than Trillian IMHO:

http://www.miranda-im.org/

Each program has its advantages.

True

I used Trillian for ages. I started getting the MSN popup
telling me to upgrade all the time a little while back and I
heard about the possible problem with MSN. I found a 'fix' for
it - a new msn.dll file so I installed that and ran trillian, the
program crashed on startup (illegal op), even when I put the
original msn.dll file back it didn't work :(

So I thought I would look elsewhere, I used Miranda-IM, back when
it was Miranda-ICQ, up until I got trillian so when I found out
it does more than just ICQ now I was excited, it's not bad but
still fell short of my expectations... Though some of the user
made icons look pretty funky :)

Then I found another IM program which many people may not have
heard of:

Easy Messenger:

http://www.easymessage.net/

I'm using it now and personally I like it more than Miranda, it's
a personal preference thing though, but definately worth a look.

Hi

You might try keeping in the same thread so that the messages stay
together and for the Google archive. :)

And could you kindly bottom post in this news group? Please.

Bottom posting and trimming superfluous text is the preferred
method of replying to posts in a.c.f. and a.c.f.d.

Thank You Very Much :)

Hopefully OgO, or another person, will reply and can help you in this
thread.

Perhaps you should try Miranda IM, it is as small as Easy Message, but has
much more features, and many plugins are available.
