My isp is earthlink from home, my company uses a differnt
isp. I now have 2 favorites folders and the folder now
defaults to my earthlink favorites instead of my company
isp favorites...why does it do this and how can I change
the default back to the original?

Jane,

What Operating System? You may change the favorites path in the registry and revert it to original location.
[HKEY_CURRENT_USERS\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders]

Windows XP stores the location of per-user special folders (including favorites path) here:
[HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders]
Alternately, you can change the path there. Or, use TweakUI and change the location of Special folders.

TweakUI v2.00 for Windows XP/XP MCE [564 KB].

TweakUI v2.10 for Windows XP SP1/XP MCE/2003 [147 KB].

Ramesh, I have this problem, too, except for Windows 2000. Are the
directions any different for that OP?

Lynne,

Don't have a Windows 2000 machine with me right now. I believe it must be the same. See if the User Shell Folders exists in teh registry and change the value accordingly.
