Have 2 separate favorites folders.

Out of nowhere, my favorties menu displayed "old" stuff. (I am the only one
on this computer). Searched the PC, found that for that one instance,
favorites were coming from documents&settings\owner\favorites. Rebotted,
favorites were back to pointing to "old" location. Normally, IE points to
doc&settings\applications\earthlink\6.0\[email protected]. Questions
1. why did this happen? where should "favorites" be?
2. why do i have 2 instances of favorites folders?
3. which is the correct location- i plan to get rid of earthlink and since
currently, IE looks under the earthlnik directory, I am concerned they will
be wiped out when I install a new ISP.

THank you for whatever help you might provide.

TweakUI for XP will allow you to change the location of the Favorites folder
to wherever you want. Since I have XP on D: I put mine on E: just in case I
have to reinstall XP the Favorites won't disappear.

TweakUI is considered an XP Powertoy and will be in that location on the
Microsoft site.

Downloaded this, don;t know WHAT to do with it, can't find favorites stuff
anywhere. Still, why are favorites in 2 locations? Did my ISP do this?
