Each account other standard browser

Hello,

Is it possible to have in each account another standard browser (and
mailclient)? I would like to use Firebird, another user wants Opera, the
others would stay with MSIE. Somebody got an idea how to fix this?

Thanks in advance,
Tiemen

Hi,

You can have the required software installed and have every user manually
run his prefered browser or email client.

Elias

That's the way we're doing it right now, but I would like that, for example,
when I run Outlook Express, and I click on a link, the website opens in
Firebird. While another one on this PC (with his own account) wants it to be
opened with Opera, and another one with MSIE.

Thanks for your reply,

What is firebird and where can I get it? I am always looking for something
better than the crap MS offers. I hate their spyware disguised as browser
and OS.

It's the light, totally rebuilt Mozilla-browser, currently version 0.61.

If you are looking for a more stable non-MS browser i would suggest Opera
7.11. It has a mail client and a lot more features (such as Mouse Gestures,
very handy!)

Both have lots of skins and add-ons and are available for several OS's.

Enjoy,
